RCB retained players, current squad, purse amount, remaining slots
Delhi Capitals (DC) have retained a core of their team heading into the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Player Auction. Rishabh Pant, who missed the entirety of the 2023 season after sustaining injuries in a car accident last December, has been retained ahead of the 2024 season. So has the likes of David Warner, Axar Patel, Prithvi Shaw and Mitchell Marsh.
Shaw especially has been repaid the faith of the DC team management after a forgettable outing in IPL 2023, having scored just 106 runs from eight matches. The 24-year-old will be looking to make amends for his blow-par campaign earlier this year.

Some of the big names released ahead of IPL 2024 are South Afrca’s Rilee Rossouw, England’s Phil Salt, West Indian Rovman Powell, as well as some Indian talents like Chetan Sakariya and Priyam Garg.
DC had a forgettable season last time around, finishing ninth in the 10-team points table, but this time, they will be boosted by the return of Rishabh Pant and hopes his presence adds confidence to the side.

Delhi Capitals released players: Rilee Rossouw, Chetan Sakariya, Rovman Powell, Manish Pandey, Phil Salt, Mustafizur Rahman, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Ripal Patel, Sarfaraz Khan, Aman Khan, Priyam Garg
Delhi Capitals remaining slots: Delhi Capitals have 19 players in the current squad, out of which four are overseas players. DC have nine slots to fill, out of which four of them are overseas.
Delhi Capitals purse remaining: Delhi Capitals have spent 71.05 crore on their current squad. They have 28.95 crore still left to spend.
